The 2025 Annual Report highlights Assemblymember Dr. Corey A. Jackson’s ongoing work to support the residents of the 60th Assembly District. This year the district office resolved 340 cases, held more than 810 meetings, and organized over 14 community events to address the needs of local families and seniors.
Key legislative accomplishments include AB 422 and AB 563, which strengthen civic education and improve early childhood systems across the state. The report also reflects leadership in major statewide efforts through roles such as Chair of the Select Committee on Racism, Hate, and Xenophobia and as the Assembly representative on the California Air Resources Board.
Community outreach remained a priority. Events such as the Community Barbecue and Backpack Giveaway, Senior Resource Days, Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaways, and the State of the Black IE gathering brought direct support and resources to thousands of residents.
The report also highlights major regional investments, including 46 million dollars for improvements to the 215 Freeway and 63 million dollars for upgrades to the Ramona Expressway, which will improve safety, access, and long term community growth.
